How does the installation of your eSIM work?
Before you start, make sure you know these key points for a smooth installation.
Install in 1 click
Automatic installation uses Universal Links (Apple and Google): tap the button in the email and the profile configures itself. The QR code and manual installation are still available as alternatives.
Before you buy
Check that your device is compatible with eSIM. Most smartphones from 2018 onwards are.
Manual installation
If you can't use the link or scan the QR code, copy the activation code we sent you by email.
Before you travel
Install the eSIM over Wi-Fi before your flight. Only activate it when you arrive in Morocco.
Install your eSIM in 4 steps with the QR code
Although we recommend tapping the 1-click Installation Button you'll see in your email, the traditional QR process takes less than 2 minutes. You need Wi-Fi and another device to display the QR code.
Access network settings
Open Settings on your device.
iOS
Mobile Data → Add eSIM
Android
Network & Internet → Add mobile plan
Scan the QR code
Select Use a QR code and point the camera at the code you received by email.
Tip: On iOS 17.4+, press and hold the QR code in your email and choose "Add eSIM" directly.
Confirm the installation
The eSIM will download to your phone (this may take a few seconds). Tap Continue.
Note: The line name often appears as "Carrier" or "Secondary" initially. You can rename it to "Morocco" in settings.
Configure data and roaming
When you arrive in Morocco, activate your eSIM:
- Select the eSIM as the line for mobile data
- Enable Data Roaming on the eSIM
- Disable data on your primary line to avoid charges
Done! Your device will connect automatically and you'll be able to browse while keeping your WhatsApp number.
Important reminders
The QR code is single-use
If you have any issues, contact support.
Do not delete the eSIM
If you delete it, you will not be able to reinstall it. Each QR code is unique.

Do it before you travel to ensure a stable download.

Access your device settings
Open Settings on your device.
- On iOS, go to Mobile Data or Mobile Service and tap Add eSIM.
- On Android, go to Network & Internet or Connections and select SIM Manager or Add mobile plan.
Before you start, check that your device is compatible with eSIM and is unlocked for any carrier.

Choose the option Enter information manually or Use provider details depending on your device.
Do you need a step-by-step guide for this?
Make sure your device has an Internet connection during this step so that the eSIM data downloads correctly.
Enter the eSIM details
Enter the SM-DP+ address and the activation code received by email.
Check there are no spaces or errors when copying the details. An incorrect letter or number will prevent activation.
Confirm and complete the installation
Tap Continue and then Add data plan. There is no need to enter any additional confirmation code. Continue as in steps 3 and 4 of the QR installation.
Remember:
Your manual installation code can only be used once
If you have problems — for example when switching devices, resetting your phone, or if the QR code doesn't work — contact our support.
Do not delete the eSIM from your device
If you delete your eSIM from your device you will not be able to use it again, because each QR code is linked to a single profile and the carrier limits its activation to once.
Make sure you have a stable connection
Preferably use Wi-Fi. That is why it is important to do the installation before you travel, as Wi-Fi at your destination may be unstable or limited.
